Bed Bugs
In the news there has been a rise of bed bug infestations in local hotels, homes, offices and apartments. But,
what are bed bugs? They are a parasitic insect that feeds on the blood of humans and other warm-blooded organisms.
Some researchers
believe that the rise of bed bugs is due to a resistance in the pyrethroid insecticides, that work by causing paralysis
and death. It seems that certain bed bug populations have developed mutations to their nerve cells which have allowed them to
become immune to these insecticides.

Reccntly, a local long established pest control company has lost their long court battle
over termite damages. The local resident received over $20,000 in judgement against the pest control company for their failure
to have done a proper closing letter on their home. It took several long years, but they finally won their case.
